Rutledge is the seat of Grainger County, set between the Cherokee Lake shoreline and the long wall of Clinch Mountain, in the heart of the county known statewide for its tomatoes.

It is a small courthouse town surrounded by working farmland, with lake access a few minutes south and Interstate 40 within a half hour — the same territory Spring Mountain Realty PLLC works from its Bean Station office.
