Bulls Gap is a small Hawkins County town named for the natural gap through Bays Mountain that carried first the wagon road and then the railroad through this part of East Tennessee. It remains a compact village surrounded by farmland.
Its I-81 interchange makes it an easy commute point to Morristown, Greeneville, and the Tri-Cities while keeping rural lot sizes and pricing that are hard to find closer to the cities.
